Noch' bila tak svetla (The Night was so light)by Alexander Chernyavskij Anastasia Vyaltseva recorded in 1912.
Anastasia Vyaltseva (1871-1913) was the star of romance of prerevolutional Russia. On 1 of march we celebrate her birth day. I had'nt time to make video to the date so I present it now.

In this video are used rare photos of Anastasia Vyaltseva from my collection and from the book "Nesravnennaya Anastasia Vyaltseva" written by Svetlana Kizimova.

  • really great work congrats.

  • Thank you.

  • What a richness of the material ! Just to my taste...;)

Sound also perfect. Her voice - as if it was not acoustic recording.

  • Thank you. I think it sounds so thanks to high quality of restoration. As for photos most of them are precious for me. As I know the two last were made during her illness.

  • What happened to her that she died so early ?...

  • She died on 4 of february of 1913 from cancer of blood. Vyaltseva death was not only the result of illness but most of incorrect treatment. The best doctors treated her without any results. At list they gave her a blood transfusion of her husband and his friend ignoring the fact of incompatibility of blood group (at that time this kind of operation was'nt widespread).

  • ХОРОШАЯ ПЕСНЯ!

  • An enchanting, beautiful, irresistibly charismatic singer!

Thank you for this marvellous posting, my favourite in all YouTube.

    Anastasia Dmitrievna Vyaltseva (1871-1913).

  • Nice post! Thank you.

  • Her voice is as beautiful as she was. What an exquisite recording! The photos of her are wonderful, she was so elegant and stunning and had an aristocratic appearance and what a saddness that she died so young. Thank you so much for this glorious presentation. I love it!
