The Korean is going to widen a martial art called kumdo in the world recently.
However, kumdo is a copy of KENdo of the origin in Japan.
The Korean tells a lie. "these martial arts is the origin in Korea".
Please be careful about these Korean lies.
If there is a Korean flag in the dojo studio, there is kumdo dojo studio.

To all of you of the whole world.
Kumdo is stupid sports in imitation of Japanese old KENdo of Korea.
Please stop it immediately if you learn Kumdo now.
And I suggest to learn KENdo.
KEN of "KENdo" is a meaning called the swords, and "the DO" is a meaning called the ways.
kum of Kumdo does not have a meaning at all.
Japanese Bushido and keen mind is included in "KENdo".
There is mind to respect the enemy even if it is an enemy.
Please learn "KENdo" if you want to train true Bushido mind.

Japanese swords are elegant & dangerous, i think a person who know use a Japanese sword, he is more dangerous than a person with a gun.
-
But I'd like to see you do the same to an egg. Quail's.

Triumphant...

@gnoynix1 factor in the teardrop bevel of the katana and you'll notice that the katas are built around sticking the blade, and removing it. it would be easier to take your fallen opponent's sword and keep moving. after all, the idea of combat is to kill your enemy, not go down still holding a sword.

Hoped I've explaned myself...
A sword is simply a weapon, just like a gun is a weapon.
It is an object.. You can't be disrespectful to it.
It does -not- have a soul or feelings.
It does not care how it's used.
How you use it, only effects YOU... if YOU are without respect, and handle your weapon carelessly, then YOU are disrespecting YOURSELF.
Treat your sword the same way as you treat your firearm.
As simple as that.
Don't show respect for the object, but for yourself and the people around you.

The Japanese sword is not mere arms.
Do not misunderstand it.
The Japanese sword is samurai's soul.
There is little history for which the Japanese sword is used as arms.
Do the in existence of the Japanese sword of the number that exceeds six million.
