@schr75 Just for info: It was his own jet and it was owned by his own company..........he even "flies" a chopper. Scary, eh?

He not only landed at the wrong field. He landed down wind and touched down 2/3 down the runway. The company owning the jet bought a new one after this one was scrapped. It is registerered OY-WET. They do have a sense of humor.

Ok, i live here, so let me hwlp out all the guessers. The pilot thought he was landing at Atlantic City Int. Airport, which is located about 15 miles WEST of AC. He was wrong. He was actually landing at Bader Field - now cxlosed - which is located about 0.5 miles outside AC. JETS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT BADER FIELD. THE RUNWAY IS TOO SMALL - OBVIOUSLY. He thought he was at a different airport.

I'm sure some might say congrats to the pilot for having full survivors or what not, and I'm not sure if this was just a dumb mistake on which airport the pilot was landing at, but wow, talk about making some very bad decisions. 1.) Lands at the wrong AP. 2.) Lands downwind. 3.) Leaves the fuel switches obviously on (maybe a short but I think he just ran scared). 4.) Didn't get his ass back to the Airplane to fix his failures. That could have taken out a city block..
