The on-going confirmation of charges hearings in The Hague is being keenly followed in Nairobi's Kibera slums, which was one of the areas worst affected by the post election violence. Many residents say they support the ICC process, which they believe will finally deliver justice to the victims. But as Jane Kiyo, who attended an open forum for the residents reports, they also hope the process will have a long lasting effect of healing inter-ethnic animosity in the country.
