Jake's single turbo Torana is legendary in Australia. His ability to crank out big horsepower numbers from relatively simple combinations defies belief. It's an awesome sounding car as well.

Not sure of the specs when this video was shot because he's had several motors, but it's a Holden V8 between 308 and 393ci with a large Holset single turbo.

  • fuck beamers

  • fuckin awesone rig bro.

  • @blownhemi Yeah quad rotor, big single turbo running about 1650hp.

  • how come the some of the cars have only one headlight? my gess is that if its turboed the turbo is located inside the headlight area....

  • @drumbasher The new Camaro and Corvette engine is 6.2 liters(supercharged in the 'Vette). Your old 302 was 5.0. The Charger and Challenger engine is 392 c.i. Hemi. I'd say that's pretty big.

  • @ssshane071 They do, but they have downsized them so much, its not the same as it was when I was a teenager. My 1st car was a 65 Ford Fairlane with a 302, it was a heavy car, but that motor could burn the rear tires up fast. The motors or today are weak in comparison.

  • @drumbasher So the new Camaro's, Mustang's, Charger/Challenger's, and Corvettes don't have V8's??

  • Looks alot like the Chevy Malibu sold here in the States. Late 70's/early 80's.

  • Glad to see people still appreciate big motors down under. Here in the states, all they run are V6 and straight 4's. You have to go to official drag races to see the big V8's. Keep up the good work Aussies.

  • @flinchey theyre called front runners
