Actually when it comes to the so-called blonde bombshells, Ms. Harlowe was probably the first Hollywood chosen and one of the very best in that area. But the tragedy of her life I read in a book in the 70s and it broke my heart. This woman died before any of us were even born but to me, she left the biggest impact. She was so young and full of talent .....we'd watch her movies at home on a Saturday night. Lots of fun, especially Dinner at Eight. Hilarious!

If you read the Wikipedia story surrounding her death, you'll see that she had many of the symptoms of kidney failure. It may have been triggered by her dentist pulling a tooth, but it's not clear if that was the cause or an aggravating factor.

Anyways, she was a great actress and a class act.
