This video debunks the claim that using the freeze switch is the same as using the park spot during legitimate gameplay.

First of all, using the freeze switch requires that you tamper with the circuit board after a game begins. The freeze switch, dip switch 8, is a test switch and is not to be used during normal game play. The diagram in the back of the machine states that both switch 7 and switch 8 are not used, and MUST BE OFF.

Lastly, this video shows entering the park spot may not always produce the same results as flipping the freeze switch after entering the same spot.

Using the test switches after a game has begun is illegitimate and effectively ends whatever game was being played. It should not be viewed as valid or acceptable for recognition.
