Trekking in Pakistan to Concordia and K2 base camp

In 2006, my son Hugo and I went on a trekking to Concordia, and from there to the base camps of Broad Peak and K2. It was hard, but it was the experience of a lifetime! When we got back to Islamabad it appeared that there had been an attempted terrorist attack at Heathrow with liquid explosives. Hence, we couldn't take our cabin luggage with us and we had to send it in the cargo hold. This led to all our video's gotten stolen. Luckily, we had smuggled the chips with the pictures we had taken with our passports, so we still have these. We are happy to share them with you. Pakistan isn't politically stable at the moment, but when things return to normal, by all means: go there! It is the most beautiful part of the world we have ever visited and the people are very friendly. Concordia is just fantastic: the throne room of the mountain gods. There is no place like it on earth. We were very lucky to be there!
