just clearing up something, the pixi does not have an old processor, its actually a new, smaller one that is slower yet is small enough to fit in something such as the pixi

i'd have to guess it was the slight difference of screen size. just like in gaming or in movies, the more surface shown requires more computation. they're both the same os and version. thats about the only thing i can think of, besides the good point of a possible lack of optimization.

The software is obviously not optimized to take advantage of the more modern architecture of the Pre's processor, yet.

see the funny thing is that the palm pre has a newer faster processor. while the pixi has an older slower processor. so in essence the pre should be faster. why its not. im not really sure?
