Serenade (Jazz Suite)

From her balcony, the city is like a giant concrete organism spreading to the horizon. Below, antlike figures scurry, busily tending and protecting their bloated, insatiable queen. The iteration of shapes, sounds, and smells lends familiarity and comfort as she views her world through rose-colored glasses. She is an integral part of the city, a tiny fractal in this Mandelbrot landscape.
