@Doingitforthedeen Yes, but according to what I've heard regular muslims and imams say, it's all about faith in Islam. If you are a muslim, you will go to heaven, and if you're not, you will go to hell, even if you're a good person, and even if you believe in God?
And yes, bad people deserve to be punished, but unimaginable torment, for eternity, that's way too harsh.

@hermanessences Hi Herman, well you'll find that the majority of Religions teach that Hell exists and is a place for the most evil humans to be punished. Just as prisons punish and deter crimes in this world, hell deters bad deeds for the next. You wouldn't expect a rapist or a murderer to get a free ticket to paradise would you? Though it is for God to decide everyones fate, and he is the most merciful :) Watch some videos about paradise, you'll enjoy the good religion preaches!
