  • "what i am saying though is that not matter what anyone says the fact is it will never be permanent".

sorry i type very fast and forgot to double check on comments, i rely on youtubes spelling checker thing. anyways i was just saying that it does not matter about what anyone says, the fact is that we will have people come and go so we will have problems come and go.

  • surfingthechaos is right to a certain extent. anything is possible but you gotta be thoughtful of the future yeah maybe we can fix everything on earth but you have to understand that nothing lasts forever, so how long until we have another huge global problem what happens then. I am not saying we cannot fix problems, because maybe we can. what i am saying though is that not matter what anyone says the fact is it will never be permanent. people come and go with that problems come and go.

  • if you really look at the work Bush did, you'd see that he did more damage to our space program than any help. He used it for one thing only. To take the attention off of his plan...

  • Step 1: get mba's

    Step 2: create weyland-yutani

Step 3: it's the chance of a lifetime, don't let ripley close the gate.

    Step 4: ?????

    Step 5: PROFIT!!!

  • hey brother!

  • Our battle is against numbers. It's against mathematics. It's against finity. It's against conservation of energy. It's not moral, it's not spiritual, it's not ethereal. This is not a battle we can win. I think this guy got it right, among many other enlightened ones. He understands tha we can't win this war on earth.

  • I agree. If we try to eliminate man-made pollution, save every animal from extinction, prevent AGW, and prevent losses of rainforest and topssoil, ultimately we'll lose. And we'll lose big-time. In fact, if we continue to deny our destiny, we'll do exactly what we're trying to prevent - destroy the planet's ecosystems, mine it until it's raw, and pollute it to an unuseable life-bearing state. You're right, it's humanity that's the enemy. We have to adapt, and that means we have to go to space.

  • Not only that, just think of the greatness we could achieve if we focused all of that energy towards something positive. Think about how far we would be if all the people wasting their time protesting for pro-life and pro-choice bullshit would have put all that energy toward space exploration. We could have terraformed Mars by now!

  • I agree with most of what you said in the video. Humanities problem is humanity, but I disagree when you say that we will never get rid of these problems. Given the fact that you understand that all of humanities problems are created by humanity, you should also realize that gives us hope. Think about it, if we have to constantly expend all of the energy that we do to mantain all of these problems then just think how easy it would be to get rid those problems.

  • Good video. I agree we need to get our asses out into space. That was the one thing I supported George W on was that he was trying to get a manned mission to mars going.
