  • Timeless tune with great bass chops and seraphic singing.

  • When was this performance?

  • @Shyann1 : Ditto..........................

  • I met David outside the Last Howrah In Portland Or. 1984 ish around closing time and I told him I loved how soulful his vocals were on this song. He was very gracious and thanked me for the compliment. He said " I never hear that anymore, thank you." Nice guy. He was there watching local talent not performing. he was talking to the Lynn sisters, Local talent, when I met him.

  • It is impressive to see how people talk depending on which music they're into. Rockabilly fans insult new music, Hendrix Fans are all agree that no one can beat him, rap fans have a dirty mouth, The Righteous Brothers fans won't take opinions about any cover being better than theirs, Pop fans say things I don't understand, blues fans talk politely always, and JB fans have los their mind and won't find it anymore.

  • Nope, I didn't know that about "Babyface" (speaking of old-school). Always a willing participant in the bank of hopeless knowledge! Thanks, bro!

  • @MAUSCOMAN

thanks for the info, sometimes the backup vocalists are the real talent, take Babyface for example, he was backup for the group 'The Deele'...thank buddha that we got to see them come forward...

  • Love this! :)

  • Some useless knowledge for all you of old-schoolers - Ambrosia (At least Pack, Puerta and Drummond) began as an intricate part of the Alan Parsons Project - backup vocalists...!

  • I'm thankful for my two older sisters and older brother. They introduced me to great music like this.
