well... to make sushi you need two things which are a little harder to find, unless you have Chinese stores in your town... which being where i live, in a very ethnically diverse town, i have a few, but you need seaweed wrap, which can actually be found at a Super Walmart... i think... and sticky rice...
there are sushi making kits that you buy but you still need to buy those two things, then you need (for california roll), crab (real or fake), cucumber, cream cheese and carrot, o and wasabi :-D

My "town", as you call it is Montreal. It is the most culturally diverse metropolis in Canada (with Toronto). You Unitedstatians...
There's a sushi shop across the street from my building, so I think I'm gonna go ask them!
