All this does is make "pole dancing" acceptable to girls; therefore, they are more likely to be strippers when they are older.

If your statement is true does that mean that the men I teach will also take up stripping? Also worth a mention are the many women I have worked with who have left the world of stripping after doing my fitness classes! Sam x

Honestly i've seen regular dancers look more slutty than a pole dancer. Pole Dancers are more than just dancing, they are performing gymnastics while dancing. It is the best workout i've ever done!

Just read your article in 'Thats Life' and looked you up straight away,,,think you are fantastic,,,,dont mind the negatives,,this is an art and im guessing takes a lot of time and work...:)....this is worlds away from usual sports,,i should know i'm a girl boxer so i know all about the negatives that come with being different....:)...love your work,,keep it up....:D.x

Look everyone stop being stupid, if u knew anything u would no that it take a large amount of strenght to what sam is doing! Im 14 and i read your story in a magazine and thought it was pretty cool cus im a gymnast and poledancing is something i would like to try some day. So you can all say whatever you like but i would like to see you's all have a go and fail at what sam can do!

The press contacted me after they had already got hold of the story. The story would not have been a story if the college had not asked me to deny that I had been pole dancing at the college. There was no personal benefit for me when the story hit the headlines but I was not about to deny what I had done, I felt it I did it would suggest I had done something wrong which I clearly hadn't. If the vice principal had dealt with this sensibly there would not have been a story for the pres to cover.

i agree with the comment below, i have been poledancing for about 3 years now, and there is always the misconception that poledancing auotmatically means you are a stripper, sometimes i get wierdo's trying to add me on facebook because they have seen my videos, obviously i block them!

I love the video!!!! and to Dalarna i guess i'm a stripper since I turned to "pole dancing" I was trained in the more "classical disciplines" of dance growing up and needed a challenge so sought out pole dancing... its a way to challenge the training I have in ballet to another level.. and it opens up a whole new world of creativity in dance it doesnt have to be restricted to the slutty stripper style... I HATE CLOSE MINDED and JUDGEMENTAL PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!
