UWS Open Day has lots of interesting stalls and presentations from the local community. This video will teach you about some amazingly useful plants available in the Western Sydney bush.
Very interesting video!! Tim Lowe's book on wild herbs of Australia says that both the ancient Romans and the Australian Aborigines used to whip themselves with wild nettles as a cure for rheumatism etc. It's handy to know all these useful things.
This is fantastic, written words cannot say enough about the knowledge and beauty of his spoken words. I admire and have much respect for Jake as for his huge knowledge and human understand is something basic people have forgotten making him a normally pure (in organic ways!!) a person yet in today's society he is an enlightened true Australia Treasure we all should acknowledge simply because he listens to the traditional and local persons of this land water and spirit and science. buku-gurrpan
