With Becs now living in London, Dan finally moves on with his life, and even lands a new celebrity girlfriend (Kathryn Thomas). The couple recalls a nasty fight that took place as Becs prepared to leave Dublin.

Dan & Becs is an Irish comedy television series aired on RTÉ Two. It portrays the lives of an affluent South Dublin couple, intercutting the video diaries of the pair as they discuss their tumultuous relationship, blossoming careers, and the perils of living life on Dublin's Southside. Through all the chaos, Dan and Becs have at least one reliable constant in their lives an overwhelming sense of self-importance.

i love the two shows...i like sarah and steve more because i can relate to them more but dis portrays the way i think a southside couple wud act...a show abou a scumbag meetin a d4 wud be interestin

Lower-class people find us Dalkey people hard to understand. They are much better suited to Sarah and Steve where they can relate to non-private educated lower-class people. Dan and Becs is for people like me in Dalkey. Oh, and why do poor people always assume that Dalkey is D4? They should have a look at a map that shows postal addresses. We are not D4.

I agree. I think Sarah and Steve come across as more down to earth people rather then Dan and Becs who are a bit up in the clouds.

Then again, both couples are just actors trying to imitate the particular groups in Ireland.
