While on tour with the Frank Vignola Quintet in the fall of 2007, Casey Driessen gave an impromptu fiddle lesson on double-stops and bowing technique. Check out more about Casey at http://www.caseydriessen.com. See more fiddle lessons at http://www.fiddlesessions.com.
I recently purchased Casey's series of lessons on "chop" bowing (from his website). I'd strongly recomend them :-) I'm one satisfied customer :-)

Violinists know more about masochism than fiddlers, but true suffering comes from the pain of the creative process. Muscle aches are like inconveniences next to a battle with the notes themselves.

Great exercise and can't wait to try this - still in my early playing days and just getting to grips with Irish Jigs and Reels - no looking at old time american/bluegrass tunes which I like a lot and this looks a great way to get comfortable with double stopping .. . more tips please Sir!
