The legendary Spanish pianist, Alicia de Larrocha, died on 26 Sept. 2009 at age 86. Descansa en paz, Alicia.
Alicia de Larrocha was filmed at the Alhambra by Larry Weinstein and Nev Fichman in the late 1980s.

as regards the comments on themes, I think that De Falla is building on decorative elements in a similar manner to the designers of the gardens (not an original observation on my part)

There's no melodic theme in this composition. I can't recognize it. That's why the entire composition makes no imprint on me.
