    I am from south Louisiana,and the New Orleans Zydeco has kind of taken away from this kind of true cajun music,waltzes and 2 steps,everyone thinks Zydeco is cajun,and it is,but there is a lot of the citys Bon Temps Roulet' in it

    Zydeco is not Cajun. Zydeco music was born as a blend of Cajun music and two other "new" American music styles, blues and rhythm and blues (hint: more African influences).

    That is so true, is sound is the real thing, I really miss it. I moved away from Port Arthur 20 years ago and its just not the same.

    Man this music brings back good memories I lived in North Centeral Louisiana for 13 years in the woods in between Ruston and Farmerville! Thanks so much for posting this awesome Vid , Louisiana is the best state I've ever lived in best FOOD, BEST MUSIC and most of all the best people!

    I use to live live in Louisiana,from 1981-1984,but was never lucky enough 2 make it down 2 Lafeyette 2 hear this GREAT MUSIC.I now live back in Texas,but if its the last thing i do,im going down 2 Lafeyette to hear this music.
