Kevin: how did u get from Texas to Hollywood? I mean like y r u here?
Gretchen: im looking for a chance...im a great singer and...
Kevin: you sing? Me too...
Gretchen: so mom and dad? ~started crying again~ are they dead?
Kevin: MOM AND DAD ARE ALIVE AND WELL!!!
Gretchen: ~laid her head in my lap while crying her hardest~ ~lifted her head~ do you keep...keep in touch...?
Kevin: we talk a lot...
Gretchen: so you have their #?
Kevin: yea
Gretchen: can you call them...I really would like to talk to them
Kevin: ohh sure they are going to be so happy

Kevin: hey mom...I...
Mom: KEVIN MCHALE DO YOU KNOW THAT IT IS 4 AM HERE!!!
Kevin: MOM I HAVE AMAZING NEWS!!!!!!
(she was on speaker)
Mom: if its about your career It can wait till the morning!
Kevin: it is a million times better...here you can talk to her
Mom: who?
Gretchen: ~crying at the sound of her mothers voice~ m..mo...mom?
Mom: what who is this?
Kevin: mom its Gretchen!
Mom: ~started hysterically crying~ ohh the lord has answered my prayers!
Mom: (talking to their dad) SHES ALIVE!!!
Dad: who?
Mom: GRETCHEN!
Dad: ohh my! Is she really!
Mom: yes
Gretchen: hi father!
Dad: Gretchen I love you...
Gretchen: I love you too!
Kevin: mom ill get my manager to get you guys plane tickets to come here ok bye
Mom + Dad: bye thank you so much
When they hung up their parent were hugging and crying...after all they haven't seen their daughter in what...8 years...she is 17 now...she hasn't seen Kevin her mom or dad since she was 9 and Kevin was 11 IT'S A LONG TIME!!!
