  • I am sad to report that Arthur Ferrante died on September 19, 2009 at his home in Longboat Key, Florida. He was 88. He will be missed, but his legacy lives on through his music along with partner, Louis Teicher

  • Another tremendously enjoyable F. & T. clip, w/ a wonderfully florid arrangement being played live on stage...1 does wonder why they were categorized as "easy listening" when there is such a level of virtuosity integrated into what they did--but that's categories for you! Thanx so much for posting!!

  • Thanks for sharing. Always admired these gentlemen. It appears as they aged their abilities remained fresh and exciting!!

  • I've loved Ferrante and Teicher ever since I was a young teen and Malaguena was always one of my favorite piano pieces. It was always my dream to play like them but no one could ever top this talented duo. RIP Mr. Ferrante.

  • I ma very sad reading Mr. Ferreante passed away. I enjoyed his music for many years when adolescent. He was of the best!!!

  • God, I miss the days when you could play this on the radio (as a disk jockey), sit there with the speakers wide open, getting lost in the music and everyone loved it.

  • My Grandmother introduced me to Ferrante and Teicher when I was a teenager in the 60s while taking piano lessons from her. I loved listening to Authur Ferrante and Lou Teicher ever since then and still do today. I was shocked when I had heard that Lou and nearly one year later Art had passed away. Thank God we have their wonderful music recorded. I sincerely miss them both. Tom in Omaha
