It's too bad. Gerritsen's books are dark, creepy and fun to read. But the show based on them is just like Bones. And a guilty pleasure though. Still I think we need to bring back Spenser.

Yes. So true. I can't come up with anyone else. When I hear Spenser I don't even hear that Boston accent or a Southie knock-off. I hear a wise cracking awesome son-of-bitch. As for Hawk... I'm thinking either Lawrence FIshbourne or... Someone as serious as Denzel but not really the same caliber. I mean if we put Clooney and Washington in a movie together than that's kind of like starting a pissing match. Maybe Terry Crews? Morgan Freeman? That's it I guess. No one can out-Hawk Avery Brooks. :/
