Every time I've gone to the grocery store that had a 45 minuet line... I left and went to another store (which took 45 minuets) (travel, shoping and all) and still had to stand in line for 45 minuets...

I think the solution is simple. If people don't want Universal health care, simply stop paying tax to fund it while the people that do want free health care, the government would tax them to have Universal health care coverage. Everybody wins.

Are you incapable of having a discussion about issues without attacking the person you are debating?

The VA is socialized healthcare, that is what the military has right now. Medicare is socialized insurance for healthcare. The British system is like our VA, the German system is like our medicare. Both exist right now in America. Insurance itself is a risk management tool, the more people the program, the less the risk as the costs are dispersed amongst a larger pool of people. I cannot fathom you have a degree in finance without knowing this, its simply laughable.

If you realy want the government to hand out health care. The best way to do it would be to put everyone on high deductible plans and give cash to the people who can't affort the $5000 or so deductible. Give the power to the individual instead of the state.

of the things that I posted by John Stossel, I have heard the same things from many reputable sources such as NPR, the Cato Institute, ABC news. These ideas fall in line with the teachings of economics. Any time you make something free to the consumer, it increases the number of people consuming it without a corresponding increase in price to cover the increase demand. This leads to shortages and it's inevitable the government must decide how to manage those shortages....

Beyond John Stossel, have you checked if he was correct? Or is he correct because you want him to be correct?
Where is the "REVOKE GOVERNMENT HEALTHCARE" movements in any western nation?

"think indoor plumbing" "think electricity" "think the Hubble space telescope" If you pay 44 cents the government will pick a letter from right from your house and deliver to another house across the country. We have medicare right now, are people dying because they have it? LOL So every 6 years you need to wait in line for a hour to get your drivers license renewed, oh the horror! Facts and logic are not your tactic, you are a bullshit artist who uses hyperbolic imagery to scare people.
