Future Shock San Diego is an apprentice company that provides youth (ages 17 and under) with substantial experience studying and performing urban dance forms. These dancers are mentored by our professional Culture Shock troupe dancers. The family environment fosters teamwork, respect, and positive self-expression. Future Shock dancers are required to maintain satisfactory grade point averages and participate regularly in local community events. Their performances often draw large and diverse audiences and are applauded for their high level of technical and artistic excellence.
Dance for a Cure was brought to you by the Junior Optimists Octagon International Club to help raise money for the Childhood Cancer Campaign. DFAC took place at the Ruth Chapman Theater at Eastlake High School on February 25, 2011.
great stuff and, by-the-way, the music in the last part of that routine that was punched in after common's verse on "universal magnetic" was a version of the song i did for a mixtape titled "future shock"....LOL, so i guess it all worked out well. and i feel honored that i could make a contribution even though i didn't know i made it until someone told me they heard my track during one of future shocks shows! haha. good surprise.
