Here we have HOG (Heart of Georgia) Railroad running CN 6409 on January 13, 2011. The crossing signals are very old and unique, featuring US&S Teardrop bells, which sound amazing! Rare to see CN units in GA!

  • Jackson Street Railroad Crossing. The post on the opposite side of the tracks is now gone, somebody crashed into it.

  • @fsuindianoutlaw89 Aww, that sucks!

  • @WILDSIGNSIGNALMAN I believe they were originally wig-wag signals at one time.

  • Are those old wig wong posts?

  • @SeaboardCoastLineRR I wondered that myself. The old NKP in Indiana has lots of these around....

  • are they still made?.

  • I was Signal Maintainer at Irondale Al before it was sold to a short line and I had 8 sets of lights exactly like this. It was an old SAL line, then CSX (when I came there in 90) then was sold off.

  • @TheKarmaComedian The historic siginals!

  • Nice siginals!

  • NOW that is a Rare Railroad crossing I never seen that type of crossing in my life

  • Absolutely nuthin' to see until 0:54.
