I just finished playing this opera about an hour ago at the University of Tampa, under Maestro Coppola himself. This, and Antico Amor, were my favorites, especially the latter. We had the tenor solo in Antico Amor doubled with a soprano as a duet.

Every time I watch this video I get chills. This is not just a beautiful aria, it is sung with such passion and beauty by Ms. Neill. What a gorgeous presentation and performance. Rich, luscious tones and brilliant top. My congratulations to the production for hiring such a perfect performer for this music.

i was in the original production-maestro Coppola is a genius-i have worked with maestro since 1976 and am now choral director under his guidance-the last Puccini expert

Thrilled to have the opportunity to hear some of Sacco and Vanzetti, composed by Anton Coppola, the greatest opera conductor I have ever played under. This is a beautiful excerpt. I hope I have the opportunity to hear the rest of this opera.
