These carved stones found near the town of Ica Peru seem to indicate that the history of the world is not what we've been taught to believe. Are they real or hoaxes? http://www.coleskingdom.com/news.php
I'm not saying that I believe this, but according to Wikipedia, many believe they are hoax folklore.. Scientists though cannot prove them right or wrong because they cannot be carbonated.
Kent Hovind sold replicas on his website, they are easily made. Look at the tourist trade in Mexico, imagine them claiming some carvings were found in an ancient cave. They sure would sell better. This is obviously a hoax.
Anyone that believes these are real is an IDIOT! They have been proven to be a hoax. The stones are still to this day being sold to tourists. Check wikipedia. When i visit mexico there are thousands of locally hand carved statues for sale. In the philipinnes they carve hardwood with pieces of broken glass pop bottles, when you are poor you improvise, Thats what these people did. No difference. Although it would be cool if they were real.
@InsideIsVoid Skepticism should be a temporary state, until you have completed your research. Then you decide one way or the other. It is ought not be a knee jerk response based on a deep-seated fear that we have been lied to.
@FrequencyRising You still did not address the fact that they can easily be made,as shown on weird or what. Just curious if you are religious? When money is involved anything is possible.
Creationism is the hoax. NOT the stones. Who needs to make 15,000 versions of the same hoax? You think there's money in copying them? That's a myth put out by debunkers. Ain't no rich peasants with carbon-tipped drills in Peru. But there are plenty of folks in the west who love their paradigms....right?
@tigeroak Do you seriously believe that an illiterate peasant made thousands of these stones in his spare time before knowing whether he could even sell any? As well as researching dinosaur types and complex medical procedures...and raising 6 kids? The BBC made one of these stones with a dentist drill...maybe a dentist with a paleontologist complex made them between doing fillings?
@InsideIsVoid Its fine to be careful, but we as adults are sometimes to skeptic, and thus miss out on alot in life. And as far as children voting, they couldn't do any worse than the adults did the last election. I've personally witnessed things in my life that are way out of the norm, as norm applies to todays society. I do my homework, but will also say my mind will never be changed on what happened to me as being real. The stones, I will endulge in as much study as I can.
the question is when the stones were made.
