September 7, 2009 on BBC Newsnight:

Israel's army is changing. Once proudly secular, its combat units are now filling with those who believe Israel's wars are "God's wars".

Military rabbis are becoming more powerful. Trained in warfare as well as religion, new army regulations mean they are now part of a military elite.

They graduate from officer's school and operate closely with military commanders. One of their main duties is to boost soldiers' morale and drive, even on the front line.

Israeli general warns of dangers of turning war into 'jihad'

This has caused quite some controversy in Israel. Should military motivation come from men of God, or from a belief in the state of Israel and keeping it safe?

Angelic forces or angels control the forces of nature. Connecting with them with the Almighty's permission would allow a kabbalah master to alter the forces of nature.

  • @InternationalRevival

Yes by the definition I just gave you. A master in the magical area which would require mastery of the theoretical and meditative areas beforehand would be able to do all that, and create an animal or walk on water for example. Don't quit your day job just yet. This knowledge is passed from master to initiate, and to be considered an initiate one would have to be at the genius level in Talmud (explanation of the Torah), and possess character trait perfection.

  • @bernardrichards Is the magical arena of Kabbalah have any occult powers, telepathy levitation healing premonition. I dont want to sound like a heretic just curious. Thank you for your time.

  • @bernardrichards Okay thank you. Could you please clarify on how one can bend the forces of nature and please give me an example. Does any of this have to do with the Angels like Rapheal or Micheal. I really and truly want these things clarified for me.

Kabbalah is an esoteric interpretation of the Torah. There are 3 forms of Kabbalah: theoretical, meditative, and magical. It is not sorcery or black magic because they are both forbidden by the Torah, but a Kabbalah expert in the magical area can bend the forces of nature with the approval of the Almighty. Go to my Kabbalah playlist, and listen to the explanations of a Kabbalah expert, Rabbi Kaplan, as to what it is and isn't.

There is no such tradition in traditional Judaism. We are talking about traditional Judaism -- not some spurious form of Judaism like Messianic Judaism? Right? John the Baptist, Jesus, and Mohammed play no part in traditional Judaism. There is even a question if a historical Jesus existed to begin with. Google Did Jesus Exist?

  • @InternationalRevival Also could you give me the real and true explanation of the Kabbalah. I hear allot of rumors and false tales that it is sorcery or black magick. Thank you for your time.

  • @bernardrichards A tradition without going into to much details. The Rabbis who approached John the Baptist asked him. Are you Elijah Returned he replied no, then they asked him are you the awaited Messiah, he replied no. Then they asked him are you "That Prophet". Or who is the one to be raised like unto Moses. Thank You.

  • @InternationalRevival

These are complex topics which don't lend themselves well to the YouTube parameters of messages, but there are many Jewish sites on the web which discuss them. I don't know what you mean by "that Prophet,", but google Elijah Maschiach to learn the Jewish view on the return of Elijah, and google Maschiach to learn the traditional Jewish view on the Messiah. There is also a classic book on Judaica called "Secrets of Redemption" by Rabbi Luzzato which focuses on this area.

  • @bernardrichards Hello and how are you. I would like to ask you concerning three biblical characters if you could clarify this to the best of your capacity. The return of Elijah, The Awaited Messiah, and "that Prophet". Thank you and have a good day.
