This is one of my favorite Dolly Parton songs. The music is Misty Smith's version.
I did about 20 takes, because I kept singing too loud and distorting the mic. I still did a couple times in this take, but not as bad as the others. I SO need a new mic, so I can just blow it out! It's hard to sing a song with such feeling, when you have to keep it down to a wisper. lol

Ok, the more I listen to this one, the less I like it. I like some parts, but others are starting to bug me. I have considered taking it down. I think I will keep it up. It is what it is. I was going to redo it, but ran into the same issues with my mic, and I am fed up. I may redo it someday, if I get a better mic/camera. I'm going to stop beating myself up over this one though.
