what software are you using to perform this task and is there a way to view a filesystem of a windows mobile phone on linux

Install codeweavers, it supports DX9 and most of the big name windows games including WOW in Linux.

linux is nice but it doesnot run vista softwares and games...

that the point dex is supposed to run only in windows
but if you google around .....

What about Ubuntu. I use XP so I wouldn't know. But I am pretty sure Ubuntu has DX9 Support.

i would use mandriva instead of xp but Wine just doesnt work that well. All i need is decent dx9 support but nooooo
