Imp DPS in 4.0.1, Destruction Warlock

Testing the sustained dps of my imp in a Destruction spec. On this particular run, I reached 5000 dps before I stopped, but I believe it could go up to 6k (as it previously did on another attempt that I wasn't frapsing).

This was on the PTR around 3 builds before it went live. Burning Embers was bugged and would stack to about 5k dps, based on your max spellpower.

1) You are an Orc = increased pet damage.

2) speccing into imp means more dmg.

3) you obviously have the Glyph of Imp

4) you're bad for trying to fool anyone

@x0markland what the hell? how am i fooling anyone that this is what imp damage looked like before burning embers was fixed? also, no glyph there. it's not the imp's damage that was overpowered, it's the burning embers dot that stacked to do 5k dps because of the imp.

@tortsauce yep, and it isn't like this imp dps made it to live, either. a shame, or i'd be pulling 25-28k dps easily :x

Get Bartender4 addon if action bars are your issues.

@PeteFoxx pre 4.0 Seed of corruption was always the AoE spell seemingly regardless of Spec, Worked far better than Rain of Fire. Haven't checked out my warlocks Talents yet though, so im not 100% if it still is.

ok, maybe a nab-like remark, but...

My warlocks rotation (or priority) is easy enough on test dummies & boss fight's, but i seem to lose ground on the dps-charts during trash-fight's...

Any idea's or helpfull tips for quick & effective dps on trash?

(can't very-well just Rain of Fire on every single trash group now can we?) lol!

@latus EXACTLY lol thats what i dont get about the crying people do about our imp. beta was OP yes but the current imp is just right.
