The description of that video reads as such:
2004: Aransas County Court-At-Law Judge William Adams took a belt to his own teenage daughter as punishment for using the internet to acquire music and games that were unavailable for legal purchase at the time. She has had ataxic cerebral palsy from birth that led her to a passion for technology, which was strictly forbidden by her father's backwards views. The judge's wife was emotionally abused herself and was severely manipulated into assisting the beating and should not be blamed for any content in this video. The judge's wife has since left the marriage due to the abuse, which continues to this day, and has sincerely apologized and repented for her part and for allowing such a thing, long before this video was even revealed to exist. Judge William Adams is not fit to be anywhere near the law system if he can't even exercise fit judgement as a parent himself. Do not allow this man to ever be re-elected again. His "judgement" is a giant farce. Signed, Hillary Adams, his daughter.

@marketanarchist2011 Well I didn't necessarily say she had a learning disability. I was just trying to describe the potential restrictions of having cerebral palsy, and in some cases, learning can definitely be affected. I agree that I could have reworded that to be a little smoother. She is definitely a coherent intelligible woman so "disorder" should have definitely been less emphasized in her case. Regardless of her condition, what he did was unnecessary.

Growing up in the 70's I had a step father who gave us whippings with a belt. If we didn't bend over the bath tub he would tell us we would get hit anywhere he could hit. Legs, butt, back. Looking back it is absolutely horrifying. I had welts, bruises and even cuts from the edges of a stiff belt like the one this man was holding. Sometimes the belt buckle came in to play. It became less about discipline and more about the anger the father had in him. Parents should not discipline in anger.

I was also abused by mother, and I was only 4 yeas old, and now am 11 years old and I just told my dad my mom abused me(my mom and dad don't live together) and my dad went to court, and now I live with my dad .AND I KNOW HOW IT FEELS

My parents use to beat me like that. It is so wrong. Both of those parents should be locked up. Rather one is disabled or not, beatings like this should not happed at all. That video makes me so sad because I know how it feels.
