Acetylene is extremely explosive. It can ignite even without oxygen- that's why acetylene in tanks is under low pressure and tanks are filled with porous mass and acetone to liquify the gas. Impact or high temperature can cause explosion of the cilinders. and you don't need oxygen to do this
