I played an eight bar intro solo with drums backup at the beginning before the melody kicks in, Then i have like a HUGE plunger solo in the middle, I think it was 48 measures, most of the other guys took 12. I think the director wanted me to be the basis of the song or something like that. anyways at the contest wee went to, right after the performance one of the judges came on stage and the first thing he did was point at me and say "Great Solo", and we did take 1st
