In this episode Willard continues sharing a personal experience that created what he calls toxic shame. He shares how carrying this shame for over 20 years affected him, and how he finally released the guilt and was able to heal.
We've launched our new Forums to bring together comments and feedback on the SA 101 video series that we are getting from YouTube, MySpace, Facebook and other video sites. After you've watched the video please visit http://www.bit.ly/atgyow and leave your comments there. It is a free forum and will allow us to respond faster and also begin creating the community of people helping people.

@tokeabow To begin dealing with your toxic shame, read the classic book "Healing The Shame That Binds You" by John Bradshaw.
Also, there is a great thread at the Social Anxiety Support . com forum that gives priceless info about toxic shame and how to heal it. When you get to the forum, do a search there for the thread titled "The Toxic Shame Thread". I know it is a SA forum, but that thread can help EVERYONE with toxic shame, even if you don't have SA. I've been healed, and you can too.

Will,
1-: Thankyou, this is sinking-in in deep trust,
as one writes, & am content to not do too much mental busyness around the sinking in processing. Therefore there is no hidden rider to it. It is what it is.
2-: tokeabow, plenty of people give advice,
oftentimes as an avoidance of just exactly what this goodman is actually giving. I find advice to be on a mental level. Whereas
this communication is directly person to person on an energetic level & my own sense-of the trustworthieness is yes.

Just tell one person! Someone you trust and maybe never have to see again (like a therapist). You will be amazed at how different you will feel. It happened to me!
