Here is a short clip of a 1960's Blue Pullman locomotive as it journey's through the great British countrtyside. Every note of music you hear has been composed by myself and perhaps uniquely about this particular video - all the music has been scored out on paper too.

  • BECAUSE I'M NOT A FILM MAKER I'M A COMPOSER YOU IDIOT!!! I don't know the first thing about making films...and judging from that ridiculous film on your website of a load of model trains taken from highly unoriginal camera angles complete with vomit inducing, commentary, neither do YOU

  • no i have not - and i have not studied film composing either...it comes naturally...and while i admit that the sounds are not the best here...anybody with an ounce of musical enlightenment would be able to hear that the scoring is incredibly complex with a multitude of instruments being used. Apologies that i couldn't afford the london symphony orchestra at this time. And you are STILL missing the point here that it is IRRELEVANT what the ORIGINAL COMPOSER did...this is MY interpretation

  • that film you refer to is a Royalty free clip that came FREE with a piece of music software i used to score it, for composers to practice scoring THEIR OWN music - it's very common sense to most people.

  • whats with the shit music, clifton parkers original score for this film is one of the films best features, why ruin it???!!!!

  • why don't you go and take your opinions elsewhere...it took HOURS to score that music out and make it fit. Every note you hear has been written down on paper. If you can do better then please demonstrate...otherwise perhaps you can find something better to do than cut people's talent and hard work down.

  • Awesome music! I find it very difficult to compose to film. I take my hat off to you :)

  • Typical BR that none of these were preserved. only the mighty class 55 deltic was faster back in the day

  • I would have loved to see these in action, its a pity none survive today

  • @SteamboatWilley I did make a couple of trips on the WR Blue Pullmans, they were notoriously rough riding although they were the fastest trains of their day. A 125 is very much smoother.

  • pedanticmongrel can shove his opinion where the sun don't shine, but you need to remember that how long something took to compose is no indicator of how good it is. Actually, I think your composition is pretty good, but don't get a swelled head about it.

  • shame it wasnt preserved

  • i had a hornby version on my layout when i was a lad it always fell off the rails as it went too fast

  • Wow Man awsome lol check out my version. Look up "March (Blue Pullman)" =)

  • Just saw the original clip - my God, your composition is infinitely better! Good job!

  • nice vid!
