DT Research WebDT366 booting from external USB HDD with pagefile

I have a dt366 with lx800 cpu @ 500 MHz and 512 MB shared RAM (24 MB video), 512 MB nand flash. I succeeded in installing and booting full blown xpsp3 from a USB HDD with page file on the USB HDD. Windows normally does not support pagefile on removable media, but guys at http://usboot.org created a custom driver to correct this. WinXP ISO had to be modified as well to load USB controller drivers BEFORE installation, tutorial here http://www.ngine.de/index.jsp?pageid=4176

You could also run XP off USB stick instead of HDD but it will wear it out within 3 months due to page file writes, but you could always install enhanced write filters (EWF).

The CF slot is not on IDE bus and is not bootable.

Tablet runs Quake 2 in software render at 640x480 at 28+ FPS. Quake 3 does not run because of lack of opengl support but you can run a dedicated server.

Skype was there for chat purposes only, CPU is too weak for SILK codec.

@Gamedogz09 don't buy from him, his DTs are crap. Go to webdt.org and find a user "tbowland", I bought this from him, they are 512 RAM and 512M SSD, faster CPU (lx800), HE SELLS THEM FOR $75 usd + shipping. Also check out usboot.org and use USB-enabled XP iso to install windows on it.
