how can you cover a song that has soul in it with a fun strumming quick picking guitar...your style is church music or folk your voice and guitar playing are all right, its just that there are some songs that if ur going to cover them either you make it better or you maintain the songsattractiveness. Like when Simply Red tried to cover Teddy Pendergrass 'if you don't know me by now" ouch on my ears.......simon

I applaud anyone who endeavors to express themselves with an original musical piece. I was curious at the title, thought you were covering Billy Vera. But obviously this is something different.

I agree with those who've said you need to bring your voice more to the forefront. It's kind of hiding behind the guitar in this recording, and it's supposed to just be accompanying.

Regardless, don't stop and don't let any hack tell you you should.
