An accurate cover of Thom Yorke's new untitled song, as debuted at the Roseland Ballroom Atoms For Peace Concert on April 5, 2010.

The chord shapes are as follows. Each written chord is eight counts long (and a repeated chord is another eight counts). The rhythm is a finger-picking pattern simply alternating between low/high notes throughout the whole song with bass notes/thumb on the beat and high notes/index finger on the off-beats.

All the fret numbers in parentheses are transient or occasional notes.

Dm - 10 (12) x 10 (10) x
Am - 5 (7) x 5 (5) x
G - 3 (5) x 4 (3) x
F - 1 (3) x 2 (1) x
Eminaddb6 - 0 (2) (2) 0 1 0
Cm - 8 (10) x 8 (8) x
Gm - 3 (5) x 3 (3) x

  • Do a tutorial video for this pleeez! :)

  • @jer1ndie You just pluck back and forth between your thumb and forefinger, 6th string and 3rd/2nd string over and over again. That's the entire song.

  • Do you have the lyrics for this somewhere Warren?

  • @drbo42 I sent you what I think they are... didn't want to publish something I was a little foggy about.

People, if you want them, Skype me or e-mail me.

  • Hello Warren from Ukraine) can you write chords like you've wrote in "The present tense"???( i mean like that - Gm - x 10 x 0 11 x Cm - 8 x x 8 x x Cm5 - 8 x x 0 8 x Eb - x 6 x x 8 x Dm - x 5 x x 6 x G/B - 7 x x 0 8 x G7/B - 7 x x 0 6 x Dmsus4 - x 5 x x 8 x F2 - x 8 x x 8 x F - x 8 x x 6 x))) it will really help me....Thank's for yours tutorials! • staircase!

  • thank you, warren. thank you.

  • I just want to say man you're the best. Amazingly talented. Everything tutorial of yours I've followed is always dead on. You make it a lot easier for average guitar players like me to get better and play songs I love. Radiohead is so close to my heart, nothing feels better than learning and playing these songs.

Hate to end on this, but I was also wondering if you could PM me the lyrics :)

  • @thehungryduck Oh It goes back to F. Sorry.

  • What do you do for the part between 0:10 to 0:15?

  • @warrenmusic O ok thanks, for some reason i was reading the tab wrong xD im sort of a beginner lol

  • As a guitar player and huge radiohead/thom yorke fan. GREAT JOB! I also play the same chords. I saw him in LA and this song was played and i went home and played it. Nice touch with the iphone at the end. Peace

  • @theviewer99 Oh, I've just seen your comment saying I should e-mail you for that. Will do.
