guys is there something on the market that resembles qy100 but a bit "up to date" ?
i mean something like portable "sketchbook for musicians" typa-a-thing? anyone could help me with this? Or is this worth buying since thers nothing more modern like that? i need a portable sequencer

I miss the backing funktion in most of the popular DAW´s.
It´s a pitty.
It´s great to play Chords and the rest of the Song fits to the Melody.

@4321micro Yes, with USB-MIDI in/out -adapter.
Also QY100 support connection via RS-232 port (older computers), but you need special cable for that.
USB RS-232 adapters don't work, i was tried that with my new laptop.

Are these progressions already in the memory bank of the QY or did you have to use the QY to sequence the patterns first. IE are you pulling these patterns up as factory presets or did you create them from scratch first and then save them to the pads? I'm looking to create auto accompaniments for my regular keyboard so I can play it as if it were an arranger piano similar to a Tyros 3 by hooking up the QY. Thx.

Chord progressions are live played. Chord recording is limited to 1/beat +-shift(1/8 or 1/16). That is reason for live playing, specially in "Sambaila" -video.
Is possible edit preset styles and save then modified styles to user-styles. All accompanimet traks of preset styles are also usable when edit or create own user-styles. And is also possible record (or import midi-data) own tracks and add them to own user-style.
QY100 can also be syncronised to external midi-clock source.

@od7m25z9 Thanks much for answering my questions. Your info (especially your demos) helped me to make the decision to buy one. Just ordered one and should get it in a few days. I hope you'll post some more vids showing how you use the QY100 with any keyboards.
