In this watercolor ocean scene I cover how to paint those huge waves that crash onto the beach in a spray of sunlight and surf.

  • what kind of paper do you use?

  • Hi Laura.

It depends on the demonstration I'm doing. Sometimes it's Saunders Waterford Rough paper 300gsm (140lb).

However, I also use Bockingford 300gsm. paper a lot because I recommend it to students as a good quality, economical paper that gives pretty good results.

    Cheers

    Bob
