That doesn't happen to be former Islanders coach Scott Gordon, in goal for BC, was it?

Nice sounds - true 80s feel - I am a senior at RPI right now, I've seen the 1985 team return for Freakout! weekends. Here we have a tradition called the Hockey Line, where people line up in front of the Student Union to try to be the first to get season hockey tickets... it's more of a tradition than a necessity for season tickets but after the 1985 win one of the fraternities got into line the very next day and held their position for 180 days or something until next season's tickets.

I didn't realize the championship game was on ESPN back then, I thought they only started broadcasting the hockey in 1990.
I don't know if you're aware but you can buy dvd's of many NCAA tournament game broadcasts. I have the 1996 Michigan win over Colorado College. But unfortunately, they cut out the intro and postgame.
Do you have any other tapes of championship games from other years?
and FYI, the time limit is really 11, not 10.
Any chance we'll see the other pieces of this game on the web?

Yes, soon. 10min postings are a bummer though.
