  • thanks for putting this video on. Joe Temperley is my great-uncle 9my dad's uncle), and this is the first I have seen of him in 27 years. I was quite surprised he turned up in a search, as I have tried before - with no results. Thanks again for sharing

I've just realised that your channel name probably relates to a Conn6H T'Bone - hence your comment about Matt (Finders). I incorrectly assumed it related to a Conn6M Alto Sax.

Do you have any idea what sax Babe Clarke plays (my guess is a Conn 10m)? Also do you have any information about recordings he features on? He does perform on 'Perdido' on the double Johnny Hodges CD 'The Jeep is Jumpin', but that's the only information I have. He was in the Ellington orchestra from time to time, but I cannot determine from web searches which recordings he features on. Any info would be appreciated.

  • Yeah Matt! Swinging hard and sounding good!

  • splendide, tout plein d'entrain !

  • Your G-uncle is a phenomonal musician! I saw him recently with the JALC orchestra, he was great.

  • Real smooth, pure delight. Thanks for posting.

  • Hey 68blue is it no Lumphinnans?

  • Big Joe ....Lochgelly man.....nuff said.

  • Nice. Love the tenor battling.
