  • I don't get this film. JCVD was trained in Muay Thai but why is it he used his Shotokan karate when he beat Tong Po. Why was he at no ponit using any Muay Thai. He himself wanted to train in that form.

  • @shamim13333 JCVD trained in Shotokan in real life. I always wondered that myself when I got older and watched this movie. He isn't really doing much Muay Thai. I guess lucky for him that back then no one really knew what Muay Thai was. Still a great movie though.

  • How dare you cut out any of the dance scene, it is the pinnacle of quality cinema!

  • @Wonderbread316 I actually wanted to put the whole thing in but didn't have any time as I wanted to keep it as short as possible but still tell the story. And yes, it is the best dance scene in cinema EVER.

  • The guy who played Tong Po was friends with JCVD even before this movie. He was also in Bloodsport.

  • Correct, both of them were in the opening scene of Breakin' as well.

  • @shamim13333 Because the purpose of the movie is that JCVD has his own style which both his brother and rest of the people looked at as "weak style" speed but no power. After getting trained etc it not only developed his Muay Thai but his own style as well. It gained him more power and he had a purer soul after the training with the master.

  • JVCD acting speaking german?

  • 03:40 muahahahahahah im okeeyy hahahahahah

  • I might of added another minute of scenes, but I'd say you got just about everything covered from a story/plot aspect of Kickboxer. Keep em coming. Good Work

  • @SupremeJudge Would have been sick seeing a Muay Thai battle between Tong Po and Kurt. Instead we get Shotokan vs Muay Thai.

  • this is great job man,you could really watch some movies like this

and too bad Tong Po does not have a lead part in some movie

i am tired of all "nice guy shit"

  • dude that is dennis alexio hes a professional kickboxing champion of the world, he would kill tong-po and van damm at the same time!? maybe lol

  • @kieveru Yeah they actually went to Uni together, and Tong Po was played by Michael Qissi.
