@Durmanstainer Smart and right choises are often unpopular. But they must be done. Medvedev is a good president. Putin saved Russia from collapsing after Eltsin`s reign, and enforced stability and order, but it`s rotten order, with lots of corruption and monopolies. Medvedev now must repair damage, done by USSR`s collapse, restore science, fix demography and see to many other very important issues.

Medvedev actually thinks ahead, his plans are about 5-10 years in the future at least, unlike those of any other russian leader, who could only think about profit right here and now.
He`s less popular than Putin, despite the fact that he does right choices. Medvedev wants country to be reborn, he tries to fix it, develop it, while Putin thinks, that Russia is too unstable and wants stability and order, which leads to stagnation.

@bryniak LOL, 90% of russians know nothing about this. But 100% of polish people remember Katin.
Because US and polish governments want polish people to hate Russia. I think its very sad.
