I really dont think you understand. We're having a sideways argument. I'm saying the guy in the video is a pathetic shit. Youre saying "poor russian street kids who got abused and have no place to go." Okay, I agree with that but this specific guy who could work, who could live with his non-abusive grandparents, who would rather beg, hes a fucking loser. Do you understand?

so a kid is deserving of compassion but as soon as that same kid turns 16 or 18, that's it, he is a bum? My point is that those teenagers that you see in the film were those homeless kids just a few years back. It is impossible for them to just snap out of it, after years of neglect and abuse. Some manage to go off drugs, find jobs, gratude from universities - i KNOW them. But these are exceptional people. Most don't make it and end up as criminals or junkies.

Like I said before, I'm talking about this specific guy. Do you understand? He has all the tools to become successful but he doesn't want it. Dont pity him. Please dont fucking speak to me about homeless kids in general. I never brought them up. I am talking about this ONE guy. Understand? Please tell me how I can explain it better. No more sideways bullshit.

Let me try again: this ONE guy was this ONE kid just a few years ago. So when he was a kid, he deserved pity. The second he turned old enough to be an adult, just like that he deserves nothing? What "tools" did he acquire in those few years to make him successful? Did he have a chance to go to school? what about his self-esteem? what about drug abuse? sexual abuse? physical?

The tools he got was a job and a safe place to stay with his grandparents but he doesnt want it. He WANTS to shoot up and live on the street. He does not deserve anyone's pity, he only wants enough pity to get someone's spare change.

alright so for years he was going hungry, was beaten up by cops, neglected by passers by, molested, addicted to chemicals and then he is all of a sudden expected to just get a job and go on like it's nothing? People rarely do that in real life.

Are you thick? He had a job. Someone gave him the chance to fix his life, he chose to work for a week and then quit and get wasted.

damn, you are slow. my whole point is that you cannot just look at his decision to quit in isolation. there were circumstances that led to that behavior, circumstances that are beyond his control - circustmances that most would find themselves in in his place. You dont go throw life as a responsible adult after being abused all of your childhood - that is not what usually happens.

You know what, I'm not going to argue anymore. I know I'm right about this guy. This guy knew about all the dangers, all the risks and chose this life from whenever he decided to runaway. Look, he decided to shoot up even though he knew he'd get aids. Did it anyway. Do you pity girls who get pregnant when they know what will happen if they dont use a condom? I'm done.

if they were too young to fully comprehend the consequences of pregnancy, then yes. If not, i would pity their kids. What makes you think that he chose this life? most homeless kids end up on the street due to no fault of their own and once on the streets, it is virtually impossible not to go on drugs because reality is too harsh to tolerate. We don't know much about this guy and what we do know does not give us enough information to judge him.
