  • Good for Houston to have some sort of rail line now. To be honest though, for being the 4th largest city in the US they don't have a commuter rail to the suburbs yet and they have light rail instead of heavy...kinda dissapointing.

  • @atcken they're building more rail in 2012 and in 2020 there willl be commuter rail going to the suburbs

  • sometimes there are two trains attached (during rush hour) and we need the long platform

  • That platform seemed a little long for the LRV. Somebody was running down the platform to reach the doors. Wheteher this was just a short vehicle or not is a question, but either way, nice new system!

  • Reminds me of a very long accordion bus.

  • Go Houston!

  • Glad to see the station announcements are unintelligible, no matter the town.

  • Beatiful...I'm glad to see this in Houston, or any city for that matter. I loved Baltimore's light rail, it was so efficient. Wish this sorry town I live in (birmingham, alabama) had some leaders that could make light rail happen, but I'm afraid that is not the case, they are as horrible as the very transit system we are stuck with at present. They are pitiful, so is birmingham.
