Worst visual effect from Heroes

I just want somebody to explain me two things: Why the scene "freezes" for a sec when he brakes the glass and what is that weird noise when he grabs the girl's neck?

this is the death of one of my fave characters,eden. the ability is persuasion. when she speaks like that, people do what she says. However, her command was too complex and failed. shorter ones like eat a box of donuts are easier because theyre shorter. the power loses ability with duration of command

this clip is poorly edited, the pause comes from splicing, and the squeak is her gasp cut to a millisecond

this does not do the scene any justice, it was quite amazing and sad in my opinion haha
