A Hidden Terminal easter egg on Cortana and no you can do it on any difficulty and its not apart of the other 7 terminals for the achievement Marathon Man but this terminal has something to do with the Halo Books.

the "coin" is what decided the fate of John becoming a Spartan. Dr Halsey (The person Cortana is based on) used an ancient coin that had an eagle and a head (like heads or tails), when John was playing King of the hill when he was 6 with his friends, Dr Halsey asked him to play a game, (heads or tails) if he got it right, she would choose him to become a spartan, John had it right all 3 times and John got to keep the coin, so Cortana blames the coin for being what John guessed.

Oh, When Halsey was choosing which kids to kidnap to train into Spartans she had each kid flip a coin. If they called it right she took them, John got it right. So Cortana is blaming the coin for making John a Spartan.

Dr. Hasley was testing John-117 with the coin. (classic game of flip the coin) and John said 2 ( tails) and he got to keep the coin. Then hasley said to keys "he will make a good subject." and then he was kidnapped
